Saint Francis claims team and individual title at MAC Invitational

EBENSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 14, 2012) - At the MAC Invitational Friday afternoon at Ebensburg Country Club hosted by Mount Aloysius, the Saint Francis University men's golf team fielded two teams and the 'A' squad came out the team champions with a total score of 294.

LaRoche was the runner-up of the day, finishing with a 312 while the SFU 'B' team ended their day one stroke behind in third place with a 313. On the individual leaderboard, four total players claimed the top spot, shooting rounds of 73. Three of the four top medalist were members of the Red Flash, James Ferguson (Altoona, Pa./Tyrone), Vincent Adams (Boisbriand, Quebec/John Abbot College) and Chris Stricek (Binghamton, N.Y./Windsor).

Saint Francis gets right back at it tomorrow with a match against Penn State Altoona.
