LOUNDONVILLE, N.Y. (April 14, 2014) – The Red Flash lost only three games as it rolled to 7-0 and 6-1 wins at Hartford and Siena, respectively, over the weekend. The wins give Saint Francis a four-match unbeaten streak heading into next weekend's Northeast Conference Championships.
"I am happy with the way we finished the regular season," said Frankie coach
Rob Castille. "The team played two very solid and focused matches this weekend. There are a few things that we need to clean up before NECs next week but we will be ready to compete at our best."
The Flash posted one of its most dominant wins of the season in its outing at Harvard. SFU didn't surrender a game as it mowed through the Hawks lineup.
It was much of the same against the Saints. The Flash did, however, allow a point via a singles loss.
Individually,
Sergio Carvajal (Nueva Esparta, Venezuela/U.E. Fray Elias Maria Sendra),
Chris Jimenez (Bayside, N.Y./St. Francis Preparatory) and Plaman Avuski posted 4-0 records.
