LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis football team begins Northeast Conference play on Saturday as it hosts Wagner for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff. The game is being live streamed on ESPN3 with John Schmeelk, Jay Fiedler and Matt Maisel on the call.

The Red Flash head into NEC action with a 3-2 record, the first winning mark in non-conference play since 1992. Saint Francis is coming off a bye week after earning a 58-9 road win at East Tennessee State on Oct. 3.

Saint Francis leads the conference and ranks 29th in the nation, averaging 32.2 points per game. It is also one of three FCS teams that have been perfect in the red zone this season. The Red Flash is 14-of-14 inside the 20, including 10 touchdowns, to join Gardner-Webb and Missouri State as being perfect in the red zone.

Quarterback
Zack Drayer (Hershey, Pa./Hershey ) has completed nearly 61 percent of his passes this season for 592 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions.Â
Khairi Dickson (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Central Catholic) and
Marcus Bagley (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) each rank in the top four of the NEC in rushing yards per game. Dickson is averaging 79 yards per game and is tied for the league lead with four touchdowns, while Bagley is averaging 67 yards per contest.

Terell Smith (West Haverstraw, N.Y./North Rockland) is tied for third in the league and ranks 32nd in the nation with 400 receiving yards, averaging 100 per game. He has three 100-yard games this season after having one in his career prior to this year. Smith averages six catches per game and has four touchdowns.

The SFU defense tops the league in total defense, giving up only 321.2 yards per game to also rank 26th in the nation. The Red Flash is 10th in the nation and first in the NEC in pass defense, allowing 162.2 yards per game.Â

Semo Sila (Honolulu, Hawaii /Farrington) leads the team with 38 tackles, while
Lorenzo Jerome (Sunrise, Fla./J.P. Taravella) has 28. Sila also has three tackles for loss and a forced fumble, while Jerome has two interceptions.

Jerome also leads the No. 2 kick return unit in the nation. Individually, Jerome leads the FCS in kick return yard average with 36 yards per return. He also ranks 22nd in the nation in all-purpose yards per game, with 140.25 yards, despite playing on the defensive side of the ball.

Kicker
Lance Geesey (Harrisburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) has connected on four of five field goal attempts with a long of 44 yards.
