LORETTO, Pa. (April 9, 2015) – The Saint Francis University women's lacrosse team hosts Mount St. Mary's for its Northeast Conference home opener on Friday at 3 p.m.
 
The Red Flash is still looking for their first program win against the Mountaineers, SFU has come up short in the previous 13 attempts. In 2014, the Flash nearly came away with a victory in Emmitsburg, falling 7-6.
 
The last meeting against SFU and MSM in Loretto saw the Mountaineers picking up an 11-5 victory. Saint Francis lost its NEC opener at Robert Morris last Friday, 17-9, while The Mount fell vs. Wagner, 13-7.
 
Freshman Sarah Mahon (Malverne, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) poured in a career-high three goals against the Colonials, she is one of four SFU players in double-figures with 12 tallies on the year.
 
Heather McKee (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright Bel Air) faced a barrage RMU shots on Friday and managed 12 saves in net.
 
Saint Francis heads to Staten Island to face Wagner on Sunday at 1 p.m.
