LORETTO, PA-Â Saint Francis faces their first of three two-match NEC weekends as they travel to face Robert Morris on Friday and host Mount Saint Mary's on Sunday.Â
Friday's match against RMU is set for 4 p.m. while the home match against the Mount is set for 2 p.m. on Sunday, both matches can be seen on NEC Front Row.Â
ABOUT THE FLASH
SFU comes into the matches on the heels of a tough loss to Fairleigh Dickinson in double overtime last Sunday. The Flash scored twice within a two-minute span in the first half as
Casey Gallaher (Sidman, Pa./Forest Hills) and
Abigail Tarosky (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin) found the back of the net. For Tarosky, that was her first collegiate goal. Gallaher and
Sara Suler (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) lead the Red Flash with five points and five different players have scored a goal this season. In goal,
Julia Hernan (Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School) has seen every minute of action and holds a .773 save percentage and her 74 saves lead the Northeast Conference.Â
ABOUT THE COLONIALS
RMU was tabbed third in the Northeast Conference pre-season poll on the heels of a berth in the NEC title game last season, falling to FDU. They come into the match at 2-10 on the season and 0-2 in NEC play after getting shutout by both Bryant (2-0) and Sacred Heart (3-0). Jane Schleicher leads the team with two goals and five points and much like SFU has seen five different players find the net. In goal, Makenzie Shearson has started 11 of the 12 matches. She holds a .686 save percentage and a 2.48 goals against average. SFU holds a 16-6-2 all-time edge in the series but RMU won last year's match-up 3-2 in Loretto.Â
ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mountaineers were picked to finish ninth in the NEC pre-season poll and dropped a tough 1-0 decision to CCSU last weekend. Jaylyn Chandler leads the team with four goals on the season and Jenna West has added three. The Mount has nine different players score. Chandler's team-high 10 points are third in the NEC. Maddy Bunnell has been the primary starter in net, she owns a 1.84 goals against average and a .750 save percentage. The Flash lead the all-time series 17-10-1 and SFU has won each of the last six meetings.Â

Saint Francis will be hosting their
