LORETTO, PA- Saint Francis men's soccer has announced a "Think Pink" game for their Sunday, October 16th contest against LIU Brooklyn.
Â
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Each year in the US, more than 200,000 women get breast cancer and more than 40,000 women die from the disease.Â
The team is raising money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research. The team will be holding a T-shirt sale starting on Monday, September 26th and running through Thursday, October 6th. Â
Shirt prices are:  15 dollars for shirts small through XL while 2XL-3XL are 20 dollars. To purchase a shirt, turn in money to SFU men's soccer office in Stokes or through an email to
Nick Hanuscin (Cinnaminson, N.J./Bishop Eustace) at NJH100@francis.edu. Checks can be made payable to SFU Men's Soccer.Â
You are encouraged to show your support to the cause and the Red Flash by wearing your shirt to the game that Sunday. Donations will also be accepted on the day of the game.
Â
Saint Francis will be wearing their t-shirts during pre-game warm-ups and will sport a pink armband during the match. Show your support for the Red Flash men's soccer team and help raise money and awareness of a disease that has affected over
2.5 million Americans.
