LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Saint Francis men and women's track and field teams turned in five first-place finishes at the Gulden Invitational on the campus of Bucknell University on Saturday. The women placed sixth with 44 points, while the men finished fourth with 68 total points.

Host school Bucknell claimed both the men and women's title.Â

The Red Flash placed two in the top five in the 1000-meter run, with
Hannah Weber (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) finishing first and
Hannah Dorian (Johnstown, Pa. /Westmont Hilltop) placing five. Weber moved from seventh to fifth on the all-time performance list with a time of 3:02.39. Dorian clocked in at 3:03.45, which is the sixth fastest time in program history.

Angela Barber (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) placed fifth overall in the 5000-meter run with a time of 18:39.32, and gathered two points for the Red Flash.
Danae Peters (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) ran a 5:10.73 in the mile run and placed fifth overall.

In the women's field events,
Selena Damiano (Tyrone, Pa./Bellwood-Antis) recorded a fifth-place finish in the shot put, with a mark of 12.51m.

Taylor Thurnherr (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) took first in the pole vault finishing with a vault of 3.55m, improving her personal best mark by .10m.

On the men's side,
Dashaun Jackson (Harrisburg, Pa./Harrisburg) continued his impressive indoor season, placing second in the 60-meter hurdles, clocking in with a time of 8.20.

Christian McFadden (Odenton, Md./Arundel) jumped to sixth place on the all-time performance list in the 60-meter dash. The freshman crossed the tape in 7.01.

Bryce England (Williamsburg, Pa./Williamsburg) took first in the 5000-meter run with a time of 14:50, which is the 10th fastest time in the event in school history. Staying in the distance events,
Michael Strosko (Eighty-Four, Pa./Canon-McMillan) recorded a fifth-place performance in the mile run, finishing in 4:24.53.

Daniel Meyer (Somerset, Pa./Somerset Area) claimed a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash, clocking in at 22.07, while
Dashaun Jackson (Harrisburg, Pa./Harrisburg) took fourth in the event with a time of 22.61. Meyer notched another top-five finish in the 400-meter dash, placing fifth with a time of 51.29.

In the field events,
Mark Njenga (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) and
Blake Over (Roaring Spring, Pa./Northern Bedford) tied for sixth overall in the men's long jump with a mark of 6.45m.
John Proctor (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack) took fifth in the men's triple jump with a jump of 13.20m.

Shamsiddin Little (Paulsboro, N.J./Paulsboro) finished second overall in the shot put, tossing the object 16.28m.
Nicholas Miller (Bear, Del. /Salesianum) and
Nicholas McKnight (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) went fourth and fifth in the men's high jump with leaps of 1.95m.

Easton Plummer (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) placed first in the pole vault with a vault of 4.35m, moving from eight to seventh on the all-time performance list.
The Saint Francis track team travels next to the Spire Midwest indoor track and field open that is held in Geneva, Ohio Jan. 27 through Jan 28.
