BOX SCORE Loretto, Pa. - The Saint Francis field hockey team (7-8, 3-3 A-10) came back from three one-goal deficits in regulation to send its matchup with the VCU Rams (11-5, 4-2 A-10) to overtime, but the Rams scored the winner in the 80th minute to overtake the Red Flash for fourth place in the A-10 with a 5-4 victory.
Turning Point
The start of the second half was wild as the two teams combined to score four goals over the first seven minutes of the half. VCU opened the scoring before the Red Flash responded with goals from senior
Kyra Castano (Laflin, Pa./James M. Coughlin) and
Brianna Govia (St. James, Trinidad/Holy Name)Â to take its first and only lead. It lasted just 43 seconds as the Rams tied things up.

- VCU opened the scoring in the 23th minute on a goal by Natalie Bohmke.
- Govia tied the game in the 27th minute with her first of two goals.
- The Rams struck 1:18 into the second half on Jamee Albright's tally.

- Govia's second goal of the game and ninth of the season at 48:25 put the Red Flash in front 3-2. Both of her goals were unassisted.
- The Rams tied the game courtesy of Emily McNamara at 49:08.
- McNamara added a second at the 59:36 mark to put VCU in front 4-3.
- Junior Brea Seabrook (Wilkes Barre, Pa./GAR Memorial)Â gave the Red Flash second life, tying the score at 4-4 with just over three minutes to play in regulation.
- McNamara completed her hat trick 9:49 into the overtime period, scoring on a shot from the top of the arc via a penalty corner.
