Scouting Mount St. Mary's

The Mountaineers need to win its last two games and hope Sacred Heart and Bryant lose their final matches to join a three-way tiebreak scenario to qualify for the playoffs. Mount St. Mary's has generated offense, leading the league in shots per game at 14.25 per contest. Unfortunately, the group has been vulnerable in the back, allowing 1.73 goals per game, which ranks eighth in the conference. Jenna West leads the team with five goals and four assists. She leads the league with 61 shot attempts.

Scouting LIU Brooklyn

The Blackbirds are eliminated from playoff contention with a 1-4-1 NEC record. The Blackbirds have scored a league-low eight goals and have been shutout in nine of 15 matches. Jenn Peters has scored half the team's goals with four. Kimberly Butland has added a goal and two assists. Goalkeeper Aline, Allmann is third in the league with a 1.00 goals against average and is second in save pct. (.872%) and total saves (75).

Three-horse Race

The Red Flash are locked in a three-way battle with Fairleigh Dickinson and CCSU for the NEC regular-season title. The Blue Devils currently sit atop the standings with 15 points, but the Knights and Red Flash have a game in hand and sit two points behind. If Saint Francis and Fairleigh Dickinson both win out they will jump the Blue Devils. The Knights currently lead the tiebreaker because they defeated the Blue Devils while CCSU handed SFU its only loss in conference.

Win and You're In

Saint Francis is one win away from clinching a playoff spot for the eighth consecutive season. The last time SFU failed to make the conference was in 2009 when it went 8-8-2 overall and 5-5 in the NEC. If the Red Flash win its final two games, the only way it would not host is if FDU also won its final two.
