Bryce England (Williamsburg, Pa./Williamsburg, Pa.) continued his strong streak after winning his first meet of the season last week at the Ted Owen Invitational, England finished 11th out of 359 runners at the Lehigh University Paul Short Run on Friday. The perennial All-Conference runner navigated the 8K course in 23:52 and was the third finisher in the Gold Race from the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region, behind Georgetown's Jonathan Green and Villanova's Casey Comber. The time was a new personal record, beating his previous mark by 46 seconds. This is England's second straight NEC Cross Country Athlete of the Week Award this season and fourth overall.

Madison Wright (Eaton, Ohio/Twin Valley South) continued the impressive start to her collegiate career finishing as the top NEC freshman in Lehigh University's Paul Short Run on Friday. With a first and seventh place finish under her belt, she placed 36th overall in the Brown Race that featured 161 DI women and 24 programs. Her personal best 6K time of 22:29 helped the Red Flash to a second place team finish. This is Wright's second straight NEC Cross Country Rookie of the Week.
