Scouting Saint Louis
Â
Saint Louis is 3-6 on the season and 0-3 in conference play. Their previous outing was a 2-0 defeat in nonconference play to Kent State. They are led by second year head coach Danielle Baumgardner. On offense, the Billikens are spearheaded by Carly Kissinger, the team leader in goals (3) and assists (4) for a total of 10 points. Two of those goals have been game winners. Katie Moss and Erica Bondoc who each have two goals and one assist support Kissinger in the Billikens' attack. Goalkeeper Lillian Cossetto has recorded 35 saves on the season. Saint Francis is 4-0 all time against Saint Louis. The most recent game, in 2016, resulted in a 3-0 Red Flash victory.

Scouting Davidson

Davidson is 0-8 on the season and 0-2 in A-10 conference play. Their last game was a hard fought 2-1 loss to the Bobcats of Ohio. Ginny Turner has been the head coach for eleven years at Davidson. Offensively, Davidson has a multitude of options as four different players have recorded goals and seven players overall have scored points. Davidson's strength resides in its defense. Their two goalkeepers, Sarah Zeszotarski and Bean Rodriguez have combined for 45 saves. Courtney Byler, the 2016 A-10 leader in defensive saves, has two defensive saves this year as she looks to keep her crown. Morgan French and Lauren Gampper each have made one defensive save. The Red Flash are 1-5 all time against the Wildcats with the last outing occurring in 2016. Davidson won the game 4-3.
