Red Flash to Face Saints and Raiders

Loretto, Pa- The Saint Francis Red Flash field hockey team looks to build upon its victory over Towson as the Red Flash remain on the road for two games against Siena on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 1 P.M. and Colgate on Sunday, Sept. 10 at noon.

Scouting Siena

The Saints enter the all-Franciscan matchup with a record of 0-4. Getting off to a fast start will be key for the Red Flash as Siena has been outshot 53 shots to four in the first half and 111-17 shots overall. The Raiders enter the match at 2-2, pending a matchup with Lock Haven on Friday. Colgate is a strong defensive club led by its goalkeeper Maria Krull who has posted a .848 save percentage to go along with her 28 saves in the cage. The Raiders have a super substitute in Iona MacKillop who has two goals and two assists in only 61 minutes of play. The Raiders are 10-4 all-time against the Red Flash with Saint Francis winning the most recent meeting in 2016, 2-0.
