James Madison seized momentum early on a Rachel Yeager goal coming at the 15:12 mark. JMU tacked on two more goals taking a three goal advantage into the locker room. After halftime,
Brea Seabrook (Wilkes Barre, Pa./GAR Memorial) scored her eighth goal of the season cutting SFU's deficit to four goals. The Red Flash were unable to get closer than that as the Dukes shut the door on the Red Flash winning the match 8-1.
