Loretto, Pa.- The Saint Francis swim team is set to compete at the Northeast Catholic Invitational this weekend. The event is hosted by Boston College and begins this Friday. The Red Flash are looking to rebound after a opening day defeat to Bowling Green.
Last year, the Red Flash set multiple invitational records and placed second in invitational and dual meet format as the Red Flash defeated Assumption College, Holy Cross, Fairfield, Providence and Merrimack and lost to Boston College.
In the 2017 Northeast Catholic Invitational,
Karilyn Quon (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol) dominated setting meet records in the 500 Freestyle and the 200 Backstroke. Additionally, Quon won the 200 Freestyle and was part of the second place quartets in the 200 Freestyle Relay and the 400 Freestyle Relay.
