Loretto, Pa.- The Saint Francis cross country teams are proud to announce that
Brenden Miller (Millersburg, Pa./Upper Dauphin) and
Shannon Cody (Exton, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) were named to their sports' respective All-NEC Rookie Teams.
Brenden Miller (Millersburg, Pa./Upper Dauphin) was the third male freshman runner to cross the finish line at the NEC Championships which netted him the nod for the Men's Cross Country All-NEC Rookie Team. Additionally, the Millersburg native earned two NEC Rookie of the Week awards and finished first at the JMU Invitational during his inaugural collegiate campaign. Â
Shannon Cody (Exton, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) was the third female freshman runner to cross the finish line at the NEC Championships which gave her a spot on the Women's Cross Country All-NEC Rookie Team. Also, the Exton native won NEC Rookie of the Week for her sixth place finish at the Father Bede Invitational during her rookie season.Â
The Red Flash return to action on November 17 at the ECAC/IC4AÂ Championships.Â
