 Set One
The opening set was back and forth, neither team gaining a big lead. After multiple ties, SFU got back on top, making it 13-11 before forcing the Pioneer's to call its first timeout of the set. The Red Flash was able to break away, going on a 6-1 run to go up, 20-14. A few Pioneer miscues would allow the Flash to continue applying pressure, as they would eventually go on to win the first set, 25-19.

Set Two
The Pioneers would take an impressive 11-6 lead to open the second set. They would maintain that lead the rest of the way to win the set, 25-19.

Set Three
The third set saw 9 ties in the opening 12 points with 8 lead changes. SFU would eventually take a 3-point lead and sustain that lead the rest of the way. Two Stephen Braswell (Manchester, Pa./Northeastern) kills would put the set away as the Red Flash would go on to win, 25-22.

Set Four
Down 2-1, the Pioneers kept things close to open the fourth set. A Brandon Buck (Baden, Pa./Ambridge) and Stephen Braswell (Manchester, Pa./Northeastern) kill would give them a 10-7 lead and force Sacred Heart to call a timeout. Out of the timeout, both teams would battle back and forth until SFU would go on a 6-2 run to win the set and match, 25-19.
