LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis Women's Tennis team fell 4-3 at Lehigh on Sunday.  SFU earned a doubles win, but dropped the doubles point.  The Red Flash won three singles matches, but fell to 0-4 this season.  The Mountain Hawks improved to 1-1.

"Overall, I was very pleased with how we competed as a team," said Head Coach Rob Castille. "Lehigh is a good team with a lot of depth and we had points to win the match. So I like how we are putting ourselves in position to win matches, but we need to learn to finish. We have to make sure that when we have a lead or an opportunity, we aren't letting it slip away and we need to keep playing the same way that got us that lead. That will be a focus of ours in practice and over these next few matches we play."

At the No. 2 doubles position, junior Raksha Bode (Reunion, Fla./Florida Virtual School) and sophomore Lucia Seigford (Madrid, Spain/Mirasur) met Lehigh's Sibel Can and Grace Lin.  The Red Flash duo earned a 6-4 victory to improve to 1-1 this Spring.
