Turning Point
Central Michigan captured an early lead, scoring three goals in the first six minutes of the game. Saint Francis responded with goals by
Livia Baker (Fallston, Md./Fallston High School) and
Sarah Mahon (Malverne, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial).
Sarah Mahon (Malverne, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial)'s goal brought the Red Flash within one, but the Chippewas responded with a run of their own and led 9-5 at halftime. In the second half, Saint Francis (4-5) traded goals with CMU and were never able to get closer than three goals.
