Turning Point
Saint Francis trailed 3-0 just 3:14 into the game and 8-5 at 12:11 of the half before closing on a 4-1 run to draw even at 9-9 at halftime. Senior
Jessica Mazzur (Dallastown, Pa./York Catholic) was instrumental in keeping the Red Flash within striking distance, scoring three goals and adding an assist at halftime. Freshman
Amanda Heidt (Erie, Pa./Villa Maria Academy)'s goal with 23:12 to play in the second half gave Saint Francis its biggest lead, 11-9, before the Owls answered with three straight goals. Mazzur's fifth goal of the game locked things at 12-12 with 14:22 remaining before both teams went into a defensive shell to force overtime and set the stage for Fischetti's winner, assisted by freshman Emiliegh Scott.

- Senior Ashley Stoessel (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown East) was fantastic once again, saving 14 of 26 shots. She has made at least 13 saves in three of her four starts.
