LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis Softball team visits New York City this weekend for two key NEC doubleheaders.  The Red Flash takes on Wagner on Saturday for a 1 p.m. doubleheader and LIU Brooklyn on Sunday for a twinbill beginning at 2:30 p.m.  Sunday's doubleheader will be streamed on NEC Front Row.

The Red Flash, led by Head Coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift, is 20-17 overall and 2-0 in the NEC this season.  Saint Francis split its doubleheader at Maryland on Wednesday, with a 3-0 win in game one and a 7-4 setback in game two.

Wagner, coached by Lindsey Ubrun, is 12-19 overall and 2-5 in conference play.  The Seahawks have won four straight games, including a doubleheader sweep over Rider on Wednesday.  LIU Brooklyn, led by Roy Kortmann, has a 13-21 record, including a 2-3 mark against NEC opponents.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Flash is 27-25 in the all-time series against Wagner. Saint Francis has won eight straight games against the Seahawks, including wins in all four matchups last season.

Saint Francis trails 43-14 in the all-time series vs. LIU Brooklyn, but swept last season's series in Loretto.

PATRICK-SWIFT CLINCHES 300TH CAREER WIN
With SFU's game one win over Maryland, Head Coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift now has 300 wins in her career, including 207 as the leader of the Red Flash.
Since taking over the SFU program in 2012, Patrick-Swift is 207-150, winning 58 percent of the games she has coached at SFU.  Patrick-Swift is already the all-time wins leader at SFU and the first coach in program history to reach the 200-win mark.

In Patrick-Swift's tenure, Saint Francis has increased its wins total each of the last six seasons, including last year's program and NEC-record 49 wins.  Last year, Patrick-Swift led the Red Flash to its first ever NEC Title, first ever NCAA Tournament appearance and first NCAA Tournament win.

LARGEST CONFERENCE WIN STREAK
With Florida State's 1-0 setback at Pitt last Friday, snapping the Seminoles' 36-game ACC win streak, the Red Flash now has the longest conference win streak in Division I.

Saint Francis has won 21 straight NEC games dating back to the 2016 season.  SFU's last NEC loss came on May 13, 2016 in the NEC Tournament vs. Robert Morris.  SFU's last NEC regular season loss came on May 5, 2016 against Central Connecticut State.  The Red Flash's win streak includes its perfect 16-0 record in the NEC regular season last year and its 3-0 performance in the NEC Tournament on its way to the program's first NEC title.

POWER SURGE
With two homers against Maryland, Saint Francis now has 41 homers this season, already the third-most in a season at SFU.  SFU ranks 16th in the nation in home runs per game, with 1.11, and 19th in total homers.

Five SFU players have at least five homers this season, led by Madison Cabell (Ivor, Va./Southampton)'s 11.  Cabell paces the NEC in homers and RBI (30).  Mikayla Bower (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) has six bombs, while Sierra McKee (DuBois, Pa./DuBois), Hayley Norton (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) and Kassidy Troxell (Navarre, Ohio/Perry) each have five homers.

Only eight other teams in Division I have five players with at least five homers. Four of those teams have played against SFU this season: Arkansas, Auburn, Coastal Carolina and Oklahoma State.
