The Red Flash fell behind 4-3 at the 10:08 mark of the first half after Dale Cosgrave scored shorthanded for the Blackbirds. The Red Flash responded by rattling off 11 straight goals. Senior Sarah Mahon (Malverne, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) was in the center of the action with three goals and three assists, while fellow senior Jessica Mazzur (Dallastown, Pa./York Catholic) scored two and assisted on two. Emileigh Scott (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) recorded the third hat-trick of her freshman campaign, while continuing to dominate draw-controls for the Red Flash, winning 10. Jessica Fischetti (Massapequa, N.Y./Plainedge), Livia Baker (Fallston, Md./Fallston High School), Amanda Heidt (Erie, Pa./Villa Maria Academy), and Victoria Hernandez (Danvers, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) also found the back of the net in the win.
