Baltimore, Md. – Fresh off its best performance of the year on Thursday, a 4-0 drubbing of UMBC, the Saint Francis women's soccer team (1-1-1) travels to Baltimore to face Loyola Md. (0-3) on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 4 p.m.
Scouting Loyola Md.
The Greyhounds have been right there in all three matches but have yet to find the net in three games leading to three narrow defeats. Most recently, Loyola (Md.) fell to Seton Hall on Thursday night 1-0. As mentioned, the Greyhounds had opportunities to win all three of its matches as evidence by just a -2 combined shot total over its three games. It's a similar theme to last year when the Greyhounds scored just eight goals over 17 total matches and were shutout in 10 of 17 games.
Series History
The Red Flash defeated Loyola 3-0 at the Stokes SoccerPlex last season for its first ever win over the Greyhounds. Loyola leads the series 3-1.
