Bethlehem, Pa. - The Saint Francis cross country teams, amid competition from acknowledged powers, acquitted themselves well at the Paul Short Run. The men's team placed 30
th and the women's squad finished in 34
th.
Men's Overview
Freshman
Brenden Miller (Millersburg, Pa./Upper Dauphin) continued his impressive rookie campaign with a 110
th place finish on a time of 25:43.
Ian Gabig (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) was quite literally on his teammate's tail with a time of 25:44 good enough for 113rd place.
Griffin Molino's (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) 118
th placement (25:45) gave the Red Flash three runners in the top 120.
Ian Lauver (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) broke into the scoring with a time of 26:51 which earned him 234
th. Jeremie Venne (Ottawa, Ontario/Franco-Cite) finished off the scoring for the Red Flash with his 253
rd placement. He crossed the finish line in 27:09.
Women's Overview
Hannah Dorian (Johnstown, Pa./Westmont Hilltop), despite the interlude, kept her hot streak going as she cracked the top 100 placement. Dorian finished 79
th with a time of 22:03.
Catie Jaskowak (Grove City, Pa./Grove City Area) had a great run finishing 121
st on a time of 22:23.
Madison Wright (Eaton, Ohio/Twin Valley South) placed 150
th with a time of 22:32.
Hannah Jones (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) finished strong to place 211
th as she crossed the line with a time of 23:12. On her birthday,
Angela Barber (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) earned 222
nd place on a mark of 23:17.
