SFU hits the road for matches at Dayton and Northern Kentucky

Loretto, Pa. – Saint Francis women's tennis (1-5) returns to action at Dayton (0-2) on Friday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. and Northern Kentucky (1-3) on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 5 p.m.

The Red Flash are looking to snap a four-match losing skid after coming up short at Toledo and Detroit Mercy last weekend. SFU's lone win on the season came at Morgan State on Jan. 20.

In singles play, No. 4 Stephanie Miller (Washington, D.C./St. John's College High School) and No. 5 Romina Cutipa (Huancayo, Peru/San Juan Bosco) both hold the best individual records on the team at 3-3. No. 3 Raksha Bode (Reunion, Fla./Florida Virtual School) is 2-4 on the season, while No. 1 Lucia Seigford (Madrid, Spain/Mirasur) and No. 2 Laura Gutierrez (Bogota, Colombia/Cibercolegio UCN) are both 1-5 in singles action. No. 6 Kathryn Dunleavy (Farmington Hills, Mich./Mercy) is 1-1 on the season after playing in her first matches last weekend.

In doubles, Bode and Seigford lead the way at No. 1 with a 3-3 record. Gutierrez and Miller are 1-2 at No. 2 doubles, while Cutipa and Gutierrez have an 0-3 record when pairing up at No. 2. Dunleavy and Miller are 1-1 when playing No. 3 doubles this season.
