Loretto, Pa –The Saint Francis lacrosse team (4-9, 1-4) will play its final homestand of the 2019 season with games vs. CCSU on Friday, Apr. 26 at 3 p.m. and Bryant on Sunday, Apr. 28 at noon. Sunday's meeting with the Bulldogs will serve as senior day for a group of four Red Flash seniors.
Scouting Central Connecticut State
The Blue Devils are 2-12 overall and still looking for its first conference win of the season. Top point-getters Carson Adelberger and Morgan Sinton have combined for 48 points on 32 goals and 16 assists. Sophomore Olivia Prizzi leads the CCSU defense with 18 caused turnovers and scooped-up 32 groundballs. Senior goalkeeper Jackie Branthover has started all 14 games between and pipes for the Blue Devils and posts a 42.7 save percentage.
Scouting Bryant
The Bulldogs are 7-7 overall and 3-2 in conference play after dropping two-straight against Wagner and Mount Saint Mary's last weekend. Leading scorer Caitlin Breglia has tallied 55 points on 24 goals and 31 assists. Jess DeMeo and Natalie Langella have added 44 and 25 goals respectively. The sophomore goalkeeper has made 144 saves and is posting a 45.6 save percentage. As a team, Bryant ranks second in the NEC in points per game with 18.71 and second in goals against allowing 8.00.
Super Senior Class
The Red Flash will recognize its most winningest senior class in program history on Sunday. The class, which consists of

Ashley Stoessel (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown East), and
Eilis Hagan (Damascus, Md./Damascus) has accumulated 21 wins over its four seasons, putting them ahead of the 2018 class that set the record last season with 20 wins. Stoessel sits third all-time in career saves, while Hagan sits six groundballs behind
Holly Lawrence (Damascus, Md./Damascus) for tenth all-time in career groundballs.
