Loretto, Pa –The Saint Francis lacrosse team (3-6, 0-1) travels to Staten Island to take on the defending NEC-champions Wagner Seahawks in its second NEC match-up of the season. The Red Flash are seeking its first conference win and its second straight win on the road against the Seahawks.

The Seahawks will enter Sunday's match 8-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play. Wagner is amidst a seven-game winning streak with its most recent win coming at home against Robert Morris on Friday. Erin Kerstetter spearheads the Wagner offense with 29 points on 17 goals and 12 assists, while Madeline Seims and Victoria Tucci have combined for 56 points on 43 goals and 13 assists. Maddie Courtney leads the Wagner defense with 17 caused turnovers and 27 groundballs. She is followed by Lindsay Haas who caused 15 turnovers and scooped-up 15 groundballs. Goalkeeper Kelsey Fee enters Sunday's match with .487 save percentage saving 73 of the 221 shots she faced this season.

Ashley Stoessel (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown East) made a season-high 12 saves against the Mountaineers in Friday's loss. She was two saves shy of her career-high, which she did twice in 2018 against Radford and Kennesaw State.
