MBB Red Flash in the Pros - 2019-20 Edition

Loretto, Pa. – Seven Saint Francis men's basketball alumni will continue their professional careers overseas in the 2019-20 season across seven different countries. Included in the group are 2019 graduates Jamaal King (Salisbury, Md./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)) and Luidgy Laporal (Petit-Boutg, France/Harcum C.C.) who were key pieces to SFU's run to the NEC Title game last season. Since taking over as head coach at the start of the 2012-13 season, Rob Krimmel has seen eight former players sign professional contracts.

"It is exciting to see so many former players still playing professionally," said Krimmel. "I will be forever grateful for what each one of these young men did during their time in Loretto and what they continue to do all over the world.  Each year we push our guys to be great basketball players but even better people.  These guys are great ambassadors of who we want our players to become once they leave Saint Francis.  I am looking forward to following them this year!"
