Loretto, Pa – The Saint Francis women's lacrosse team (1-2) come into Wednesday's contest off a high note from a 12 to 6 win over Akron University over the weekend. The team looks to utilize their high scoring momentum as they host the Dukes (1-2) Wednesday, February 26 at 2 p.m.
SCOUTING DUQUESNE
The Dukes are averaging just above eight goals per game and are led by senior midfielder Maddie Hart. Hart has been dominant in the attack as well as defensively for the Dukes logging seven goals, 15 won draw controls, 11 ground balls, and 10 caused turnovers in just three matches. Veteran senior goalkeeper Maddy Curtis currently sits with a 14.55 goals allowed average and a 0.344 save percentage. She is also currently in the record books for career saves and career wins.
