Niagara, NY – The Saint Francis women's lacrosse team (1-3) travels to Niagara University (1-3) for their first of six trips on the road for the month of March.
Scouting Niagara
The Purple Eagles are 1-3 on the season and are led by senior attack Shea Swartwout who has 11 goals on the season and six won draw controls. The team is currently averaging 7.75 goals per game with 0.770 shots on goal percentage. On the defensive end sophomore goalkeeper Michelle Messenger has collected 10 ground balls and recorded one caused turnover. Collectively the team has won only 26 draw controls and caused 17 turnovers on the year, which could pan out in favor of the Red Flash.

thall time with three quarters of a season and a senior season to go she will surely continue to climb. Scott is also impressive on the defensive end, leading the team in won draw controls (31) in just four matches which improved her all time to 260.
Strong Attack
Scott isn't the only Red Flash making a statement on the attack. 11 fellow teammates have found the back of the net including junior
Amanda Heidt (Erie, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) who has eight goals on the year and senior
Livia Baker (Fallston, Md./Fallston High School) with six. Sophomore
Autumn McHenry (Branford, Conn./Branford) has been impressive in making plays, she leads the team in assists (6) and looks to add more throughout the rest of the year.
