LORETTO, PA. – The Saint Francis University Swim team comes home to the Stokes Natatorium tomorrow, Friday March 12
th at 4pm, where they take on Duquesne once again on Senior Day.
The Red Flash and Dukes have now met a total of 16 times in career history where the Red Flash took a 95-149 loss earlier this season from a trip February 27
th to Pittsburgh. The Red Flash average 108.22 total points vs. the Dukes in all 16 meets.

SCOUTING THE DUKES
Duquesne makes the trip for the fifth time in program history to take on the Red Flash. On February 27
th the Dukes took down SFU by a wide margin. Duquesne tallied eight total first-place finishes against the Red Flash.
The Dukes' 400-yard medley relay team started off the meet with a first-place finish in the event with a time of 3:45.46.
Emma Menzer took the 200-yard freestyle at 1:54.71 and the 400-yard IM at 4:30.13 for Duquesne.
Audrey Steen won the 100-yard backstroke at 57.73 while Sophia Perez took first in the 200-yard butterfly at 2:09.49. Sydney Shermen was another first-place finisher in the 100-yard freestyle at 55.21.
Laura Goettler took the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:20.39 and Molly Brennen won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:09.96.
The Dukes' 200-yard freestyle relay team sealed the deal with a win in the event with a time of 1:38.58.
THE RED FLASH
Saint Francis continues their season for the second meet of the year taking on the Dukes of Duquesne University once more. The senior class of
Emelia Cronshaw, Abigail Hutchins, Urska Medvesek, Katelyn O'Connor, Jacquelyn Rocque, and
Jessica Rupp will be honored prior to the start of the meet for their Senior Day celebrations.
During the last meet, SFU had a swimmer on the podium in each event, tallying 5 total first place finishes from four swimmers vs. the Dukes.
Junior
Annabelle McCullough led the Red Flash with two wins, both in individual events. She touched the wall first in the 100 fly (58.30) and the 50 free (24.93).
Amelia Laudenbach finished first in the 200 back (2:06.51). The remaining two event-wins were thanks to sophomores
Krysta Weik in the 100 breast in 1:08.17 and
Julia Springer in the 1000 free in a time of 11:14.94.
SFU tallied four runner-up finishes from Rocque, Laudenbach, junior
Chloe Clemens, and the Red Flash 200 free relay team of Medvesek
, freshman
Anna Bernasconi, junior
Julia Bradford, and freshman
Nicole Lopez Kohlmann.
THE SCHEDULE
The Red Flash will host Duquesne University in Loretto on Friday March 12th. The meet kicks off at 4pm at Stokes Natatorium with the Senior Day celebrations prior to the start.
