LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis women's lacrosse team plays the first of three straight home games Wednesday when Mount St. Mary's visits DeGol Field.
Attendance at the contest between the Red Flash and Mountaineers will be limited to the home team pass list and holders of active Saint Francis University IDs. The game time has been changed from its original start and opening draw is slated for 2 p.m.

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
Mount St. Mary's is 1-2 on the year with close losses to Towson and Navy teams that have been ranked at times this season and a victory over American. The Mountaineers' NEC opener at Bryant was postponed Saturday.
The Mountaineers, who were picked as the NEC preseason favorite, have been led offensively by Jordan Butler with eight goals and six assists. Sara Moeller, a grad transfer by way of Stony Brook and UMBC, has added six goals and an assist. Beanie Colson went into the weekend ranking in the top 20 nationally in draw controls per game (6.67). Mount St. Mary's has recorded an assist on 13 of its 26 goals not scored on free-position attempts.
SERIES HISTORY
Saint Francis is looking for its first win over Mount St. Mary's in a series that dates back to 2002. The teams will play twice this year in the regular season – Wednesday in Loretto and April 21 in Emmitsburg.
The Red Flash and Mountaineers last met April 5, 2019 in Loretto with Mount St. Mary's capturing a 15-8 win over Saint Francis.
Emileigh Scott scored five goals for SFU in the defeat.

Autumn McHenry scored three goals each, but Merrimack built a second-half lead after an even first 30 minutes Saturday in Massachusetts.

Peyton LeConte has recorded 12 ground balls and nine caused turnovers in her first two games of 2021, with her caused turnovers per game average leading the nation and ground balls average tied for second.
LeConte was selected as NEC Defensive Player of the Week Monday for the second consecutive week.
AUTUMN SPRINGS INTO ACTION
Junior
Autumn McHenry led the way for the Red Flash at Merrimack with four points on three goals and an assist while adding five draw controls. McHenry was honored as an NEC Prime Performer Monday.
EMILEIGH RISING IN RECORD BOOK
Senior
Emileigh Scott continues to climb in the program's record book as her 2021 season begins. Scott improved to seventh in program history with 119 career points and her 108 goals are four back of fourth in the Red Flash record book. She will enter Wednesday eight draw controls shy of being the first player in program history to 300 for her career.

Elyssa Enrique matched her career high with 11 saves in the opener against Akron. Enrique turned aside 11 Radford shots in last year's season opener.
COYNE AIMING FOR 300 IN 2021
Head coach
Tracy Coyne currently stands at 295 career victories, which is 10th all-time among Division I coaches. Coyne and Johns Hopkins' Janine Tucker (297) look to join Northwestern's Kelly Amonte Hiller as coaches to reach 300 wins this season.
