LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis head women's golf coach
Lisa Warrilow is stepping down from the Red Flash program effective June 28, as she will relocate to Italy.
A native of the U.K., Warrilow will return to Europe, where her husband is a contractor for the U.S. Air Force. She plans on working as a golf instructor on the base.
"It is with a sad heart that I step back from my position at Saint Francis, but I could not be more excited for the team's future and look forward to following their successes over the coming years," said Warrilow. "I will look back on my time at Saint Francis with such fondness and feel blessed to have met and worked with such wonderful people."
Warrilow led the Red Flash for four seasons after being hired in July 2017. In her final season in Loretto, she coached
Allison Appleton to an All-NEC selection and NEC All-Tournament honor along with a runner-up finish at the Bucknell Invitational. The Red Flash finished in the top five in all three NEC Championships in Warrilow's tenure.
"I would like to thank Coach Warrilow for her many contributions towards the women's golf program here at Saint Francis," said Director of Athletics
James Downer. "She has undoubtedly left the program in great shape and has constructed a strong foundation for future growth and success. We certainly wish Lisa the best in all of her future endeavors."
Warrilow was previously a graduate assistant at Saint Francis from 2011-13 after a decorated career at Fairleigh Dickinson, where she earned four NEC Championships and four first-team All-NEC honors.
