Jordaine Jaeger (Munich, Germany/Gymnasium Neubiberg) was named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Jaeger joins his teammate
Patrick Heron (Lauder, Scotland/Earlston) as a Prime Performer.

Jaeger preserved two clean sheets this week with a scoreless draw against Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday and a 1-0 shutout against Central Connecticut State on Sunday.

The freshman recorded five saves collectively this week, including a diving penalty kick save against the Blue Devils.

Heron headed in the match winning goal against Central Connecticut State for his first goal this season. The sophomore forward tabbed two shots in the 50 minutes he played.

This is Jaeger's second Rookie of the Week selection and third Prime Performer Recognition this season. This is Heron's first Prime Performer recognition this season.

Men's Soccer will return to action against St. Francis Brooklyn 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16 at the Stokes Soccerplex.
