LORETTO, Pa. - Saint Francis men's soccer forward Milan Djajic (Belgrade, Serbia/Rudjer Boskovic) was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Player and Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Djajic joins his teammate goalkeeper Jordaine Jaeger (Munich, Germany/Gymnasium Neubiberg) as a Prime Performer.

Djajic scored both goals in the team's 2-1 victory over NEC opponent St. Francis Brooklyn. The freshman registered a career high of four shots on goal in the 54 minutes he played. Djajic now has three goals on the season.

Jaeger tabbed a career high of 16 saves on Sunday, only letting one goal slip past him. The goalkeeper currently has the fifth best save percentage in the conference with a .773.

This is Djajic's first NEC major weekly award and Prime Performer selection. Jaeger now has four Prime Performer selections and has been named Rookie of the Week twice this season.
