LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis cross country runners, Quinn McElhenny (Hastings, Pa./Cambria Heights), Monica Gregg (Henrietta, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta), Mackenzie Walker (Indiana, Pa./Marion Center), Zachary Kohler (Warriors Mark, Pa./Tyrone Area) and Shane Curran (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) have all earned a spot on the Northeast Conference (NEC) Prime Performer list this week, the conference announced Tuesday.
 
The team competed at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational this past weekend. The women's team placed second in the 6K with 73 points and the men's team took sixth in the 8K with 166 points.
 
McElhenny has led the Red Flash women in every meet this season. The senior finished fourth with a time of 22:54.2 at the invitational. Gregg took sixth with a time of 23:11.0. Walker placed tenth with a time of 23:21.6.
 
Kohler has paced the Red Flash men three times this season. The senior claimed tenth place with a time of 25:59.1. Curran took 22nd with a time of 26:48.3.
 
Cross country will host the NEC Cross Country Championships at B&D Acres Farm in Tyrone, Pennsylvania Friday October, 28.
