2022 SCHEDULE

LORETTO, Pa. -- Saint Francis University men's soccer head coach Frank Olszewski has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2022 season.

The team will compete in 15 regular season matches including seven non-conference matches and eight Northeast Conference (NEC) matches.
 
"We are excited to get started and to test ourselves against some strong competition," said Olszewski. "Every opponent we will face prior to NEC play will be a challenge and put us in a position to grow. This will ultimately allow us to prepare and build to the final phase of our schedule, which is the always competitive NEC. The league is one of the most highly contested in college soccer traditionally and we expect the same this upcoming season."
 
The men are to open their season at St. Bonaventure. The Red Flash were set to open the 2021 season against The Bonnies, but the match was canceled due to weather.
 
Following the season opener, the team will be taking the field for the first time in the program's 37-year history against Maine FK on August 30 and Longwood on September 17. Additionally, the program will compete against Yale for the first time in 14 years on September 3.
 
Men's soccer will be on the road to face Cal State Fullerton, Bucknell and Robert Morris before conference competition.
 
The men will then begin NEC play at Merrimack September 25.
 
Red Flash men's soccer will kick off August 25 at 7 p.m. against St. Bonaventure in St. Bonaventure, N.Y.
