Saint Francis Field Hockey Ends Weekend With Loss At Miami (Ohio)

>> Chloe South (California, Md.) made seven saves in the final 30 minutes, while Amber Bryan (Thorndale, Pa.) turned away four shots in her second career start.
>> Eva Valentini (Junin, Argentina) had a team-high three shots on goal on the afternoon.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Miami (Ohio) scored three times in the first quarter and once in the third quarter to earn the win.
 
FLASH MOMENTS
Valentini had a shot stopped in the 17th minute for the only shot by the Red Flash in the first half. Madison Waldspurger (Hatfield, Pa.) notched a shot saved with 55 seconds left before Valentini had a pair of shots that followed up Waldspurger attempt. Both shots were turned away by the netminder.
 
FLASH NUGGETS
This was the fifth meeting between the two teams with all five taking place on the road for the Loretto program.

Saint Francis begins the season on a four-game road trip before making its 2022 home debut against Georgetown on Sept. 11.
