LAST TIME OUT
Saint Francis once again dominated for most of the 90 minute match, this time against a conference opponent in Wagner defeating them 2-0. Dziesiaty got the Red Flash on the board first in the 53rd minute scoring the goal from a tough angle to give Saint Francis the lead. Just 13 minutes later, Korpics added onto the scoreboard for the Red Flash as she scored her second goal of the year to put the match away for Saint Francis.
Sarah McConnon only had to stop three shots in the shutout effort as the Red Flash defense gave Wagner's offensive attack issues for the entire match.
WORD ON FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON
The Knights come into Loretto with a 2-7 overall record and they recorded their first conference this past Thursday against Howard, 3-1. FDU is led by Aitana Martinez-Montoya who has notched four goals on the season so far and leads the team in every offensive category. In net, the Knights are guided by Malene Nielsen who has 46 saves and has allowed 23 goals so far in the 2022 season.
LAST TIME WE METÂ
These two teams previously met last season when the Knights raced by the Red Flash, 3-0. This series started back in the 2000 season and has been competitive every year with the Red Flash having 10 wins, 11 losses, and four ties in the history between the teams.
