SOMERSET, N.J. – Saint Francis men's soccer's Maximus Rigby was named Northeast Conference Player of the Week and Joschi Schelb was named Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Patrick Heron was named a Prime Performer with Rigby and Schelb.
 
Rigby, a York, England native, scored two screamers in the Red Flash's 2-0 road victory against Sacred Heart, a single match career high for the junior. Rigby also picked up an assist in the team's 2-1 win over LIU. The midfielder had a season high five shots against the Sharks. 
 
Schelb, a Freiburg, Germany native, opened scoring in Thursday's match against LIU. The freshman also had a career high five shots against the Sharks. Schelb registered his sixth assist of the season against the Pioneers. He is second in the conference in assists.
 
Heron, a Lauder, Scotland native, scored the match winner in the team's victory over LIU. The score was Heron's first of the season. Earlier in the match, the forward assisted Schelb's goal for his second assist of the season.

This is Rigby and Heron's first conference recognition of the season. Schelb has been named Rookie of the Week three times this season.
 
With this past week's results, the Red Flash have clinched a spot in the 2023 NEC Tournament and are currently on a 12-match unbeaten streak. The team remains one of four teams in the nation without a loss this season.
 
Saint Francis will be back in action against Merrimack for their final home match of the season on Sunday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. The Red Flash will also honor their seniors before kickoff.
