OPENING DRAW AGAINST LONGWOOD
Saint Francis opens up its 21st season in program history at home against Longwood. It will be the seventh meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 2004 campaign. The Lancers lead the series 5-1 including a 17-5 decision last season in Farmville.
The Red Flash defeated Longwood 10-9 in the only meeting in Loretto in 2019. Saint Francis opens a campaign at home for the seventh time in program history and then third time in the four seasons under head coach
Tracy Coyne. The Loretto program is looking for its first season-opening win since defeating Radford 23-8 in 2016.Â
THE WORD ON LONGWOOD
Longwood comes into the contest 2-0 after defeating Kennesaw State 12-11 on Sunday. Emily Cate Smith leads the team with four goals and seven assists for 11 points, while Lauren Cerretani (4 goals) and Riley McDonald (3 goals, 1 assist) are tied for second on the team with four points. McDonald also has a team-high five draw controls. Julia Koenig leads the team with five caused turnovers. Amelia Carlile has 23 saves, a 9.24 goals against average and a .590 save percentage in between the pipes.Â

Longwood defeated Saint Francis 17-5 on March 13, 2023 in Virginia.

Christina Roncarati paced the Red Flash with two goals apiece, while
Autumn McHenry added a tally.
Elyssa Enrique made six saves.
Claire Libby posted five goals and an assist and Haley Moomau registered three goals and three assists. Emily Cate Smith posted four goals and an assist, while Ainsley Rowlison found the twine four times. Amelia Carlile turned away nine shots.
OPENING DRAW AGAINST LEHIGH
Saturday's meeting between Saint Francis and Lehigh marks the third meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 2008 season. The Mountain Hawks have won both meetings in the series, including the last matchup in 2019. All three games will have taken place in Bethlehem.
THE WORD ON LEHIGH
Lehigh comes into the match against Saint Francis 2-1 after defeating Wofford 17-1 on Saturday. Olivia Memeger leads the Mountain Hawks with 10 goals and four assists for 14 points. Katia Carnevale has a team-best 11 tallies for 11 points, while Emma Eberhardt also has 11 points thanks to seven goals and four assists. Cassie Marte powers the team with 15 draw controls and eight ground balls. Lauren Warfield has a team-best six caused turnovers. Hayley Hunt has 28 saves, an 8.73 goals against average and a .571 save percentage.

Lehigh defeated Saint Francis 19-4 on February 23, 2019.
Livia Baker paced the Red Flash with two goals and an assist, while
Amanda Heidt registered a tally and two assist. Sondra Dickey powered the Mountain Hawks with four goals and two assists, while Kellie Gough added five goals and Hannah Cermack had two goals and three assists. Ashley Stoessel made 11 saves for the Loretto program.
NEXT TIME OUT
The Red Flash, who start the season with three of its first four games in Loretto, returns home to host Akron on March 3 and Delaware State on March 5.

Autumn McHenry has moved into third place in program history in draw controls (155) and needs 45 to cross the 200-draw control mark. McHenry is fourth in career assists with 58 and can move into second place with two helpers. In addition, the redshirt senior is seventh in points and can move up a spot with three points. With 22 goals she can reach 100 goals in her career to become the sixth player in program history with 100 career goals. Â

Elyssa Enrique ranks fourth in program history in saves with 364. She can move into third place with 30 stops. Enrique also needs 36 stops to become the third player in program history with 400 saves in a career.

Mak Patten (Welland, Ontario) on its roster. Head coachÂ
Tracy Coyne also spend some time as the Canadian National Team head coach from 1999-2005 and earned fourth-place standings in the 2001 and 2005 World Cups.

Tracy Coyne enters her fourth season at Saint Francis and her 34th campaign in her legendary career. She holds a 304-213 career record to be one of 27 coaches in the NCAA with at least 250 wins, and became one of 20 coaches to reach 300 wins with the 10-6 win at Akron on February 27, 2022. She has led 12 teams to the NCAA Tournament between the NCAA DI and DIII levels with six conference championships and several NCAA Final Four appearances.
