OPENING DRAW AGAINST AKRON
Friday's match between Akron and Saint Francis marks the fourth meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 2020 season. The Red Flash lead the all-time series 2-1, including a 10-6 win against the Zips last season.
THE WORD ON AKRON
Akron comes into the contest 1-2 after falling 12-10 at St, Bonaventure on Saturday. Alexis Kiefer leads the Zips with 10 goals for 10 points. Noelle Boyd is second on the team with seven tallies and two assists for nine points, while Kaija Kunttu has six markers and three assists for nine points. Jenna Ridener leads the squad with four caused turnovers and Kylan Rhude has a team-best seven ground balls. Hannah Sanders has 10 saves, a 10.58 goals against average and a .333 save percentage in 113:27 minutes of work in the cage.

Catherine Russo (one goal, three assists) each registered four points to power Saint Francis past Akron 10-6 on February 27, 2022. Jaelyn Clinkscales paced the Zips with two goals.
Elyssa Enrique made 16 saves for the Red Flash, while Ashley Lapp had eight stops for Akron.
OPENING DRAW AGAINST DELAWARE STATE
Sunday's match between Saint Francis and Delaware State marks the sixth meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 2013 campaign. The Red Flash have won the previous six meetings against the Hornets including a 17-7 decision last season in Dover. Delaware State will join the league as an associate member for women's lacrosse in 2024.
THE WORD ON DELAWARE STATE
Delaware State comes into the match 2-1 after falling 11-10 to Presbyterian on February 22. Rossella Nardi leads the team with nine goals and one assist for 10 points. Saniya Craft is second on the team with six goals and two assists for eight points, while Mica Lambert ranks third with four markers and two assists for six points. Lambert also fuels the team with 13 draw controls, while Ameerah Green paces the teams in ground balls (5) and caused turnovers (3). Yeda Couto-Erickson has 31 saves, an 8.51 goals against average and a .544 save percentage in 183:20 minutes.

Autumn McHenry tied the single-game assist program record with six helpers, while
Lizzie Fisher scored a career-high four times to propel Saint Francis University past Delaware State University 17-7 on March 23, 2022. McHenry matched Katie Schaaf's single-game program record with her sixth assist of the afternoon when she fed
Nancy Alden with 4:11 left in the fourth quarter. Schaaf set the program record against LIU on March 29, 2013. Fisher tallied four goals and two assists for a career-high six points.
Amanda Heidt added three goals and five assists, while
Danielle Hernandez added two tallies and a helper on the afternoon. Nardi Rosella had a hat trick for the Hornets and Emmy McGill added two tallies.
Elyssa Enrique made seven saves for the Red Flash, while Moe Brown turned away seven shots for Delaware State.
NEXT TIME OUT
After the two games at home this weekend, Saint Francis will hit the road for a three-game road trip with stops at Kent State (March 10), at Stetson (March 14) and open NEC play at LIU (March 18). The Red Flash will return to DeGol Field on March 25 against Sacred Heart.
NEC HONORS
Autumn McHenry was named the NEC Player of the Week for the week of February 20-26 after registering six goals and two assists for eight points, four draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. McHenry and
Kelly Dickson were also named NEC Prime Performers. Dickson registered two goals and three assists for five points and added four ground balls, four caused turnovers and three draw controls.
COLLEGIATE DEBUT
Freshmen
Bella Fisher,
Bella Burke and
Julia Givens each made their collegiate debut in the starting lineup against Longwood on February 22.
Brooke Lacey and
Mak Patten both made their first collegiate appearance. Fisher (two goals), Givens (three goals) and Patten (one assist) each had their first collegiate point in the match against the Lancers.
CeCe Newman made her collegiate debut against Lehigh on February 25 and made six saves.
MILESTONE ALERT
Redshirt senior
Autumn McHenry has moved into third place in program history in draw controls (159) and needs 41 to cross the 200-draw control mark. McHenry moved into a tie for second place on the program's career assist list with 60 helpers and needs 16 assists to tie the program record. The redshirt senior is sixth in points (142) and can move up a spot with six points (148), into fourth place (149) with seven points and Top-3 (160) with 18 points. With her four goals in the season-opener McHenry also moved into the Top-9 for career goals and currently sits at 88 tallies. She can move into eighth place with three goals (91), seventh with four goals (92), sixth with seven goals and can become the sixth player in team history with 100 markers with 12 tallies.

Elyssa Enrique ranks fourth in program history in saves with 382. She can move into third place with 12 stops (394). Enrique also needs 18 stops to become the third player in program history with 400 saves in a career.

Saint Francis has three players that hail from Canada in sophomores
Olivia Baldini (Hamilton, Ontario) and
Taylor Coughlin (Hespeler, Ontario) and freshman
Mak Patten (Welland, Ontario) on its roster. Head coach
Tracy Coyne also spend some time as the Canadian National Team head coach from 1999-2005 and earned fourth-place standings in the 2001 and 2005 World Cups.

Head coach
Tracy Coyne enters her fourth season at Saint Francis and her 34th campaign in her legendary career. She holds a 304-213 career record to be one of 27 coaches in the NCAA with at least 250 wins, and became one of 20 coaches to reach 300 wins with the 10-6 win at Akron on February 27, 2022. She has led 12 teams to the NCAA Tournament between the NCAA DI and DIII levels with six conference championships and several NCAA Final Four appearances.
