Luke Minsky (Wexford, Pa.) finished tied for fourth at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Men's Golf Championships on Tuesday.
>> Minsky saved his best round of the tournament for his final collegiate round, posting a two-under par round of 70 after rounds of 73 and 74 to finish the three-day event one-over par with a score of 217, three strokes behind the medalist.
>> Minsky registered four birdies on the front nine on No. 1, 5, 7, and 9 along with four pars before finishing the round with a birdie on No. 15 and six pars.
>> In the 56 holes, the graduate student recorded an eagle, eight birdies and 33 pars.
>> It is the 18th time a player has finished in the top four and the first time since the 2018 season when Brandon Mihalo placed third.
>> The Red Flash, who were the runners up at last year's championships, finished fourth for the 10th time in program history.
FLASH MOMENTS
Toby Webb (Easton, Md.) registered the best round of the day with a three-under par score of 69 to move into eighth place in his first NEC Tournament. The freshman registered birdies on No. 1, 3, 10 and 16 with 13 pars, while only registering one bogey on the day. For the tournament, he finished with eight birdies and 35 pars.

It is the second-straight year the Red Flash had two players in the Top-8 after
Marc-Antoine Hotte finished sixth and Minsky was seventh in 2022. Minsky and Webb were both named to the All-Tournament team.

Jackson Hoey (Sewickley, Pa.) (28th place, 232) andÂ
Avery Papalia (Marlton, N.J.) (32nd place, 236) rounded out the Red Flash golfers.

Godbout posted birdies on No. 1 and 9 along with 12 pars in the final round to finish the event with five birdies and 33 pars. Hoey posted birdies on No. 3, 9 and 11 with 10 pars on Tuesday and wrapped up the NEC Championships with five birdies and 32 pars. Papalia had an eagle on No. 16 and 12 pars in the final round to register an eagle, six birdies and 25 pars.

Godbout competed in his second championship after finishing 26th last season. Papalia was in his fourth NEC Championship event after placing 22nd in 2022, and 26th in 2018 and 2019. Webb and Hoey competed in their first league championship.

LIU won the NEC Championship with a score of 870, five strokes ahead of Howard (875) while Sacred Heart (875), the Red Flash (897), Wagner (902), Merrimack (918), UMES (944) and North Carolina Central (972) rounded out the nine-team field. The Loretto team shot a 313 in the first round and then bested its total in each of the next two round with a 296 in the second round and an even par round of 288 in the final round for a total of 897.
