LAST TIME OUT
Before going on their ten-day break, Saint Francis opened their NEC slate with a 1-0 victory at Stonehill. Sophomore Julian Jakopovic scored the match winning goal in the 78th minute. The score was Jakopovic's first collegiate career goal.
 
Goalkeeper Jordaine Jaeger and Jakopovic were named NEC Prime Performers for their showing against the Skyhawks.

THE WORD ON THE KNIGHTS
FDU is 4-2-2 on the season under head coach Seth Roland who is in his 27th season with the Knights. FDU opened their season with two consecutive wins against Fairfield (3-1) and Hofstra (1-0) before falling to the University of California (3-0). FDU opened conference play at home with a 4-2 victory over Howard.
 
Last season FDU won the regular season and tournament titles in the NEC. The Knights lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament against unranked Maryland, 5-2.
 
Among the returners for the Knights is reigning NEC Goalkeeper of the Year, Spencer King. The graduate student has registered 40 saves and allowed 11 goals on the season. He has also preserved four clean sheets.
 
FDU were voted the unanimous favorites in the NEC Preseason Coaches Poll.

LAST TIME WE MET
FDU leads the all-time series with a record of 21-8-6. Last season the Red Flash drew the Knights in New Jersey, 0-0.
