LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis men's volleyball player Nathan Zini has been named Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Week for the second week in a row, the conference announced Tuesday. Zini, along with Peyton Blain and Ryan Parker, have earned NEC Prime Performer selections as well.

The Red Flash notched their first two wins of the season over the weekend in sweeps of Dominican (NY) and Central State.

In four sets of action between both matches, Zini tallied 13 kills, hitting percentages of .500 and .417, and four service aces. The two-time 2024 NEC Player of the Week is third in the conference in kills with 51.

Blain registered his second straight defensive honor after recording 13 digs combined on Saturday, increasing his NEC-leading total to 43 on the season. He led a Red Flash defense that held Dominican and Central State's offense to hitting percentages of -.065 and -.038, respectively.

In four sets, Parker tallied 36 assists to engineer two efficient offensive outings. The senior setter is second in the NEC in assists with 128. He helped lead the offense to hitting percentages of .275 and .371, respectively.

The Red Flash are set for two matches this weekend. The first one is against NJIT on Jan. 26 at 7:00 p.m. The second outing is against Queens on Jan. 28 at 1:00 p.m.
