Women's Soccer Returns Home To Host Wagner

LORETTO, Pa.- Saint Francis women's soccer will look to find three points at home when Wagner comes to town on Oct. 20 at 3:00 p.m.

Saint Francis So Far in 2024
Saint Francis enters the contest at 4-7-3 and 2-3-1 in conference following a scoreless draw at Le Moyne last time out.

Lauren Pyle leads the way for the Red Flash in goals and points this season with four goals and an assist, totaling nine points. Tomke Dziesiaty holds the team lead in assists with three. Pyle is tied for third in the NEC in goals and leads the conference in shots on goal per game with 1.21. The Lititz, Pa. native sits just one point away from tying her career-high for points in a season of 10, posting that number in 2022.

Emma Sawich has a .813 save percentage and a 1.15 goals against average. The former is the best mark in the conference and the latter is the second best in the NEC.

The Word On Wagner
The Seahawks enter the matchup at 5-4-6 overall and 4-1-2 in the NEC. Last time out, Wagner played Howard to a scoreless draw at home.

Izzy Gomez leads Wagner offensively on the year. She has 10 points from four goals and two assists. Claire Janis leads the team in assists with four. Anayah Rivera has also been a key contributor with three goals on the year.

Sam Hughes has seen the most reps for Wagner in goal this year. She holds a 1.50 goals against average and a .725 save percentage on the season.

Last Time We Met
Saint Francis and Wagner last met on Oct. 5, 2023 in a match the Seahawks won 3-1. Mercedez Paino scored the lone Red Flash goal.
