Men's Soccer set to visit FDU in high stakes match

TEANECK, N.J. - Saint Francis men's soccer will have a chance to clinch both the number one seed in the NEC Tournament and their second consecutive NEC Regular Season championship when they visit FDU on Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. The Red Flash can earn the one seed with a win or draw, but must win against FDU to jump Mercyhurst in the table and win the regular season crown.

Saint Francis enters the match at 7-5-2 and 5-1-1 in the NEC following their fourth consecutive victory. Joschi Schelb leads the squad in goals, assists and points with nine goals, seven assists and 25 points.

Schelb leads the NEC in points and is tied for the conference lead in assists. Fabian Wagner has been a big offensive presence as well for the Red Flash, tallying 18 points from seven goals and four assists so far this year.

The Word on FDU

Around The NEC
All four playoff births have been clinched, but there is still seeding at stake for the four sides involved. LIU plays Le Moyne in Syracuse. LIU must defeat Le Moyne in order to move out of the four seed. FDU must match or better Le Moyne's result from that contest in order to keep hold of a top-two seed.
