LORETTO, Pa. – The Northeast Conference announced a shift in the the 2024 Softball Tournament that will push Saint Francis University softball's start time back to 12 p.m. on Friday, May 10.
 
The second game on Thursday between LIU and Sacred Heart was postponed with one out in the top of the sixth inning. Sacred Heart is winning the game 5-3. The matchup is set to resume on Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. where it left off.
 
The remainder of the NEC Tournament schedule has shifted due to the postponement and can be found in the updated schedule below. Any further updates in the schedule will be provided if necessary.

Thursday, May 9
Game 1 - #1 Saint Francis 6, #4 Central Connecticut 4 (Final)

Friday, May 10
Game 2 - #2 LIU vs. #3 Sacred Heart (Resume at 10 a.m. in the sixth inning, SHU up 5-3)
Game 3 - #1 Saint Francis vs. Winner G2 (12 p.m.)
Game 4 - #4 Central Connecticut vs. Loser G2 (3 p.m.)

Saturday, May 11
Game 5 - Winner G4 vs. Loser G3 (12 p.m.)
Game 6 - Winner G3 vs. Winner G5 (3 p.m.) - Championship

Sunday, May 12
Game 7 - If Necessary (Time TBD)
