LORETTO, Pa. – Softball was selected to be third in the Northeast Conference Preseason Poll, the conference announced Friday. Saint Francis received two first-place votes.

CCSU was named No. 1 with four first-place votes. LIU earned second place with two first-place votes. FDU, Le Moyne, Stonehill, Wagner and Mercyhurst followed Saint Francis in that order.

The Red Flash are the reigning NEC Champions after having a perfect 24-0 season in conference play, ending the season 41-14 overall.

All-NEC players Annabelle Farmer, Savannah Nash and Olivia Ulam are returning this year. Ulam was also named No. 14 in D1Softball's Player Position Rankings for First Basemen.

Saint Francis begins the 2025 season at the Gamecock Invitational, playing Toledo on Feb. 7 at 9:30 a.m.
