THE WORD ON THE SEAHAWKS
Coached by Aubrey Mytych, the Seahawks are led by their leading scorer, Floortje Leunisse, who leads the team in both goals and assists for a total of 13 points on the season. In the Cage, Wagner is defended by sophomore goalkeeper Saar van Dalen, who carries a record of 4-5 on the season with two shutouts.
THE LAST TIME WE MET WAGNER
The Red Flash last faced Wagner just last season, where Saint Francis beat the Seahawks 5-4 in Staten Island, N.Y. In that game, Cruz Canepa dished out three assists to become the fourth player in program history to have a helper on three tallies in a game.
OPENING STICK VS LOCK HAVEN
This upcoming match on Saturday between Saint Francis and Lock Haven marks their 25th encounter since the series began in 2004. Lock Haven currently leads the all-time series with 14 wins. The Red Flash has won 10 of the last 12 meetings in the series.
THE WORD ON THE BALD EAGLES
Coached by Anna Rogers, the Bald Eagles are led by Junior Melanie Beall, who leads the team in points with four on the season so far. In the cage, Lock Haven is defended by the two-goaltender trio of Taryn Dolka and Felix Kelsey, who have a combined save total of 104 so far on the season.
THE LAST TIME WE MET LOCK HAVEN
The Red Flash last faced Lock Haven just last year, where Saint Francis lost 3-2 in overtime at Lock Haven, Pa. In that game,
Kylee Hager's first collegiate goal came deep into overtime to lift the team to a win over the Bald Eagles.

Mia DiGenova has become a steadfast presence in the cage, earning the NEC's Defensive Player of the Week honor twice in a row. She is no stranger to NEC recognition, having received the award five times in her career so far. This season, number 44 has recorded a career-high five shutouts and has made 45 saves overall.
SIX GOALS IN 60 MINUTES
Sophomore midfielder
Sofia Marciano made history last weekend by setting a new program record with six goals in a 7-0 victory. Consequently, she was named NEC Offensive Player of the Week, her first such honor this season and the first in her career. As of writing, Marciano currently leads the team in both goals and points.

ABOUT THE COACH
Head coach
Mackenzie Allessie is in her second season in Loretto after leading the team to a 10-8 overall record and 5-3 mark in league play. As a player, Allessie tallied 61 goals and 45 assists for 167 points in two seasons at Ohio State and three at Penn State. A five-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-American and five-time NFHCA All-Region first-team selection, she helped the Nittany Lions to the NCAA national semifinals for the first time since 2007 and a share of the Big Ten Championship in 2022. Allessie, named to the All-Big Ten first team in all five seasons, was named the Big 10 Offensive Player of the Year during the 2021 spring season after posting 15 goals and five assists in 16 games for Ohio State. Allessie helped the United States win the bronze medal in the Pan American games in 2019 in Chile after becoming the youngest player named to the United States National Team in 2018. She registered the most goals scored by a member of Team USA during those 2019 games. She was also named to the United States National Team in 2022.
