TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
During Saint Francis' conference matchup with New Haven Thursday, the first 20 minutes were quiet.  During the 21st minute, Kerr scored for the Red Flash. She drove up the middle of the pitch, made a crossover move to get past a defender, and took a long shot outside of the box. The ball was just out of reach of the goalkeeper on the left lower corner of the goal, putting the Red Flash up by one.
The rest of the first half was scoreless by both teams.
With just under nine minutes left in the match, the Chargers answered back with a goal of its own. No team could break the tie during the last eight minutes, ending the match in a 1-all draw.
FLASH MOMENTSÂ
Lauren Persichetty had a couple of scoring opportunities at 4:36 and 51:14, but missed just high of the goal.
Lucia Johnson had a few scoring chances of her own 6:11, 13:24, 18:58, and 60:08; however missed high, hit the crossbar, and were saved New Haven's goalkeeper.
Raine Korpics had some close chances 16:51, 16:57, 32:57, 54:52, 61:37, and 76:57; however four of the five shots were saved by the Chargers' goalkeeper.
Mercedez Paino, Caterina Schiavo, and Meredith Artz had opportunities of their own at 14:06, 59:26, and 89:12, but were saved by the goalkeeper.
Ashlyn Fetterman, Evangelia Barakos, Maggie Ratchford, and Kaitlyn Dempster each had scoring chances that missed just right or left of the goal.
FLASH NUGGETS
Kerr scored her fourth goal of her collegiate career. This is the third game in a row she has scored. Kerr was named September 29th, the NEC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.
